Why Palash
The flower that inspired VedHoop
Palash — Butea monosperma, often called the Flame of the Forest — is one of the most distinctive trees of eastern India.
When it blooms, its orange-red flowers light up the landscape across Bihar and Jharkhand. For generations, Palash has also had a place in Indian cultural and ritual traditions. But for us, Palash became meaningful for another reason.
We saw it as a symbol of nature, fire, transformation and the land where VedHoop began. Its connection with sacred fire gave us a natural bridge between the land and the ritual — between something found in nature and something experienced in the home.
That is why Palash became more than a flower for VedHoop. It became the symbol of our beginning.
